钦定越史通鉴纲目

《钦定越史通鉴纲目》（越南语：Khâm Định Việt Sử Thông Giám Cương Mục／钦定越史通鉴纲目），是越南史籍之一，53卷，采编年体，用汉语文言文编写。于越南阮翼宗嗣德八年（1856年），由潘清简（越南语：Phan Thanh Giản／潘清简，1796年–1867年）开始修撰，其后数次续修，至阮简宗建福元年（1884年）始行刊布。

编修过程

《钦定越史通鉴纲目》，是越南阮朝官方修史的一项产物。1856年，阮翼宗基于对学术研究的莫大兴趣，乃下令编纂《钦定越史通鉴纲目》，，由潘清简负责修史工作。

据学者冯承钧所说，该书在1859年完成，其后于1871、1872、1878等年续修，至建福元年（1884）始行刊布。

内容

《钦定越史通鉴纲目》是在《大越史记全书》的基础上，参考中国史籍和越南其他史书，仿中国宋代朱熹的纲目体，分为纲与目，按年、月、日记录史实，并为人物作传略，以及为人名、地名和生僻字词作注释。

该书分为前编与正编两部分：

卷首，1卷。包括谕旨和奏议、凡例、进表、目录、职名。

前编，5卷。记述从传说中的“雄王”时期至公元967年十二使君时期的历史。

正编，47卷。记述从丁先皇元年（968年）至后黎朝昭统三年（1789年）的史实。

The Khâm định Việt sử Thông giám cương mục (chữ Hán: 欽定越史通鑑綱目, lit. "The Imperially Ordered Annotated Text Completely Reflecting the History of Viet") is the history of Vietnam commissioned by the Emperor Tự Đức of the Nguyễn dynasty. It was written in Văn ngôn (which is a form of Classical Chinese used in Vietnam).

Composition history and modifications from 1856 until 1884

Emperor Tự Đức's interest in history led him to order the creation of this book in 1856. He appointed Phan Thanh Giản the chief editor. It was finished in 1859 and additionally annotated by the Emperor himself. After several modifications in 1871, 1872, 1876, and 1878, the book was finally published in 1884.

Translation

Khâm định Việt sử Thông giám cương mục was translated into the Vietnamese alphabet in 1960. It can now be found online in the National Library of Vietnam.
